Your choice changes what you are actually stating about a person, a place or a situation. Studies on French-speaking learners show that this distinction causes problems even at higher levels, and that many errors come from the\u00a0<strong>complexity of Spanish itself<\/strong> and from our tendency to simplify (using one \u201cgeneric\u201d verb everywhere).
