What es SIELE ?
SIELE is the Servicio Internacional de Evaluación de la Lengua Española which certifies electronically the command of the Spanish language proficiency for students and professionals.
Is promoted by the Instituto Cervantes, the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, the Universidad de Salamanca and the Universidad de Buenos Aires. These institutions guarantee the standards for quality and good practices in the creation of the tests and the use of diverse linguistic varieties in the Hispanic world.
SIELE certifies the degree of proficiency for the Spanish language with four tests: Reading and Listening Comprehension, Written Expression and Interaction and Spoken Expression and Interaction; the exam also takes as a reference the levels established by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
Digital because all the procedures are done electronically. Registration, taking the tests, receiving the results and obtaining the certificate of marks are all done online.
Adaptable because it adapts to the needs of the user. The candidate can choose between certifying his/her overall competence in Spanish, or the different language activities (reading, writing, understanding, speaking).
Fast because the results and the certificate or report are obtained within a maximum of three weeks and because it works through a system of appointments made in advance at the SIELE examination centres.
International because, coordinated from Mexico, Spain and Argentina, it incorporates the variants of the great linguistic map of Spanish. Each SIELE test must combine a minimum of three different varieties of Spanish.
Quality because it is endorsed by prestigious bodies such as the IC, UNAM, USAL and UBA, guaranteeing standards of quality and good practice both in the development of the tests and in the management, information and communication of results.
In addition, you can examiner in a SIELE centre either in person or remotely.
