Spanish Course A2 – Elementary

About this course
Spanish Course A2 – Elementary. The Spanish Language School of the University of Salamanca in Strasbourg is a world reference in teaching Spanish. The content of each of our Spanish courses in Strasbourg is based on the structure of language skills proposed by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and by and the Cervantes Institute.
In the following table you will find a diagram showing how the levels of Spanish are structured according to the Common European Framework of Reference and according to ELE USAL Strasbourg in accordance with this European standard. At ELE USAL Strasbourg, we have divided each of these reference levels into 2 additional sub-levels. This allows for a much more effective and conscious development of the student’s communicative competence, as well as helping to place each student of Spanish as a foreign language in the course that best adapts to their level of Spanish.
Looking to communicate in familiar situations, understand simple readings and conversations, and learn more about Hispanic culture? Do you already have a small base and want to go further, whether for traveling or simply to get closer to the Hispanic culture?
METHODOLOGY
In the Spanish course A2 – Elementary, this means that you will learn to use basic social conventions (the standards of courtesy, the different ways of greeting depending on the interlocutor). You will understand how to use a brief repertoire of learned formulations to speak in a conversation and to be able to identify the subject being discussed in this conversation.
Regarding the compression of texts, in this level you will understand both orally and in writing, how to deal with short texts like a form, brochure or leaflet, et même d’un journal or television. In this way, you will be able to understand the most important ideas on the topic being discussed.
In this way, at the end of the elementary level you will be able to get by with a repertoire of simple linguistic and non-linguistic resources (sentence structures, for example) and general knowledge of social conventions and the cultural referents of the Hispanic world. You will be able to communicate clearly and get by in everyday life situations (ask a question and respond to concrete requests to go shopping, go to the bank, the post office, take transportation, etc. ).
All our courses offer at the end of each period a certificate from the Spanish Language Schools of the University of Salamanca with the number of hours and level worked.
