Spanish Course B2 – Advanced
About this course
Spanish Course B2 – Advanced. The Spanish Language School of the University of Salamanca in Strasbourg is a world reference in teaching Spanish. The content of each of our Spanish courses in Strasbourg is based on the structure of language skills proposed by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and by and the Cervantes Institute.
In the following table you will find a diagram showing how the levels of Spanish are structured according to the Common European Framework of Reference and according to ELE USAL Strasbourg in accordance with this European standard. At ELE USAL Strasbourg, we have divided each of these reference levels into 3 additional sub-levels. This allows for a much more effective and conscious development of the student’s communicative competence, as well as helping to place each student of Spanish as a foreign language in the course that best adapts to their level of Spanish.
Do you want to communicate and argue on subjects of varied interest, understand short films and journalistic reports, read a novel and have discussions on current topics in the Hispanic world? In addition, level B2 is the level required to be able to consider doing a year of study, an internship or a professional stay.
The advanced level is the level required to be able to claim an educational or professional experience in the Hispanic world. Whether it is an experience in a university in Spain or Latin America, or an internship or work in a company, the level required is level B2. The reason is as follows: when we have a B2 level, we have the necessary resources to participate in communicative exchanges with fluidity, precision and ease with our interlocutor. We also have the necessary tools to correct our mistakes and avoid misunderstandings. We have a sufficient linguistic repertoire to express ourselves during all kinds of exchanges. In addition, we understand the different registers of the language to know how to speak according to the context and to be able to face a problem.
In this level, Spanish Course B2 – Advanced, we work on the resources necessary to successfully participate and listen in a professional meeting or class. Understand different points of view, express ideas and opinions with ease and present an argument. Finally, during the advanced level, you will acquire the tools you will need to manage during fluid interviews. We work with texts from different subjects and you will be confronted with all types of language and text varieties. In this way, you will develop strategies to follow and understand a film or documentary, a book, a scientific article, etc. You can also talk about it afterwards, make a report, an essay, a summary, etc.
All our courses offer at the end of each period a certificate from the Spanish Language Schools of the University of Salamanca with the number of hours and level worked.
